OUR CULTURE

The overarching philosophy at MMEC is collaboration.

Our principals, architects, interior designers, and support staff share an open office space that facilitates interaction and communication among team members in both offices. This arrangement also helps us create a better product for our clients.

A positive, supportive culture has been instrumental in the success of MMEC. Many longtime team members began their careers at MMEC right out of college and chose to stay. We encourage this by providing professional development, individual growth opportunities, creative autonomy, and project variety.

Equity and diversity represent a purposeful commitment MMEC strives to foster in our culture.

The best designs are derived by empowering those given the freedom to be authentic and comfortable in expressing unique points of view. Everyone brings personal values and experiences that shape and direct creativity, benefiting our clients through informed ingenuity.

Whether attending a Spokane Indians or Chiefs game with our families, volunteering at Second Harvest, creatively honoring milestone birthdays, or celebrating with a holiday party, we enjoy spending time together and building meaningful relationships with our co-workers.

Our office culture is integral to the identity and success of MMEC. With thoughtful intention, we hire the right people, give them creative license and autonomy to offer the best suggestions for our clients, and have fun along the way.
